Terms and Conditions of sale
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the sale of digital products offered on the Discover Caraïbes website, accessible at https://www.discovercaraibes.com.
Placing an order on the website constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

2. Purpose
These Terms set out the conditions under which Discover Caraïbes sells digital products designed to help travellers prepare and organise their trip to the French Caribbean.
The products offered include, in particular:
- Digital travel guides;
- Travel journals / logbooks;
- eBooks;
- Itineraries;
- Checklists;
- Other downloadable digital content.
3. Products
The essential characteristics of each product are presented on its product page.
Images and descriptions are provided for informational purposes only and are not contractually binding.
Discover Caraïbes reserves the right to modify or improve its products at any time.
4. Price
Prices are indicated in euros (€).
VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code
Discover Caraïbes reserves the right to change its prices at any time. However, the price charged will be the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed.
5. Order
An order is considered final once:
- The shopping cart has been validated;
- These Terms and Conditions of Sale have been accepted;
- Payment has been made in full.
A confirmation e-mail is sent to the buyer.
6. Payment
Payment is made online via the secure PayPal payment solution, the sole payment method offered on the website.
No banking data is stored by Discover Caraïbes; transactions are processed directly by PayPal.
7. Delivery of digital products
Products are offered exclusively in digital format.
Once payment has been confirmed, a download link is automatically generated and sent to the customer by e-mail, allowing immediate download of the product.

8. Right of withdrawal
Under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers generally have a period of fourteen (14) days to exercise their right of withdrawal.
However, pursuant to Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, this right no longer applies once performance of the contract has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent, and the consumer has expressly acknowledged losing the right of withdrawal from the moment the digital content is downloaded or accessed.
By placing an order, the customer expressly agrees that the digital content will be supplied immediately after payment and acknowledges waiving their right of withdrawal.
9. Intellectual property
All content sold by Discover Caraïbes is protected under the French Intellectual Property Code.
Purchasing a product grants only a personal, private, non-exclusive right of use.
Unless prior written authorisation is obtained, it is strictly prohibited to:
- Reproduce or copy the content;
- Share the files with third parties;
- Resell or distribute the products;
- Modify the content for commercial purposes.
Any unauthorised use may result in legal action.
10. Liability
Discover Caraïbes makes every effort to provide reliable, regularly updated information.
The guides and content offered are intended as an aid to trip preparation but cannot guarantee the ongoing accuracy of information (schedules, prices, regulations, opening hours, weather or health conditions).
Travellers remain responsible for verifying information with the relevant authorities before departure or during their stay.
Discover Caraïbes cannot be held liable for any consequences resulting from the use of information contained in its guides.

Personal data collected when placing an order is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the website.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavour to reach an amicable resolution.
Failing agreement, French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protection provisions.
In accordance with the French Consumer Code, consumers may use the following consumer mediation service free of charge:

Note: designating a consumer mediator is a legal requirement under French law and cannot remain generic. You must register with an accredited mediator (e.g. the FEVAD e-commerce mediator, or any other mediator listed by the French Consumer Mediation Evaluation and Oversight Commission – CECMC) before publishing these Terms.
14. Amendments to these Terms
Discover Caraïbes reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time.
The applicable Terms are those in force on the date the order is placed.
